Vancouver stars rally for homeless youth

The Vancouver film and television industry might be dormant due to COVID-19, but that hasn’t stopped some of its stars from taking action on behalf of Vancouver’s most vulnerable kids.

Nicole Oliver (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic), Sara Canning (The Vampire Diaries), and Adrian Holmes (19-2) are among the Vancouver stars participating in Reel Action: BC Film and Television Workers Help Homeless Youth During Pandemic, an online fundraising campaign for Covenant House Vancouver. The non-profit provides an array of critical support and resources for homeless youth in Vancouver.

Reel Action is the brainchild of actress, writer, and community organizer Enid-Raye Adams (Hospital Show), who notes on the campaign’s page that homeless youth are “even more vulnerable in these precarious times.”
