Special Episode: Talking Mental Health with Enid-Raye Adams

Special Episode: Talking Mental Health with Enid-Raye Adams

Mental illness is everywhere, even in Hollywood North. Despite the prevalence of serious mental health concerns like depression, panic attacks, suicide ideation, addiction, and PTSD in our society, many people with mental illness still suffer in silence – and that silence is costing us our loved ones, our livelihoods, and our lives.

In this deeply personal episode of the YVR Screen Scene Podcast, Sabrina Furminger is joined by Enid-Raye Adams, an actress, producer, and activist who co-produced a three-minute PSA about anxiety, drug addiction, depression, and suicide ideation for a multi union working group called Calltime: Mental Health. Sabrina and Enid-Raye speak openly about their own struggles with depression, panic attacks, and trauma in an effort to break the stigma around mental illness and remind those who suffer that they’re not alone.
