Peter Shinkoda grew up in the West Island of Montreal loving comic books and sci-fi entertainment – and he’s built a career that regularly marries both, including an exciting turn as Nobu in the critically acclaimed DareDevil series on Netflix. His many acting credits include Falling Skies, Mortal Kombat Legacy, The Man in the High Castle, Magnum P.I., Hawaii Five-O, and Waikiki.

In addition to his acting work, Peter is a passionate advocate for diversity and representation in the film and television industry. Peter recently sat down with Sabrina Furminger to talk about acting and advocacy – as well as his interactions with Stan Lee – for this very special episode of the YVR Screen Scene Podcast.
